Energy Management

An energy management system (EMS) is a system used for surveillance of energy consumption.

A special tool called Building Energy Optimizer (BEO™) has been elaborated by Optimum Energy which helps to optimize the energy related utilities.

Building Energy Optimizer (BEO™) is a unique building energy monitoring, control and optimization system that gives real time information about energy consumption in a building and provides appropriate energy saving actions.

BEO reads numerous energy meters and collects required energy data from different consuming sources to a single central station. It is embedded in a building or a campus, and simultaneously monitors different divisions to save bulk energy consumption. It detects overloading from a section and enable control measures to act against it. The offered energy monitoring/management systems make the building occupants and citiziens more environment conscious.

The EM software has an easy-to-use interface which includes reporting tools such as data collection and analysis from energy counters, alarming, solar system efficiency evaluation, etc.
The real time energy consumption prediction through a building detailed energy modeling allows BEO™ to calculate the targeted energy consumption. Comparison of targeted and real time energy consumptions is done afterwards providing corresponding energy saving actions through special building integrated controls and field devices, meanwhile highlighting the probable zones causing to extra energy consumption.

BEO™ helps to anticipate future energy needs and improve one’s energy performance in the long run. BEO encourages the consumer to use the energy sensibly. It helps to save the environment from adverse effects.
